Welcome to my new blog "As a Man thinks..." which is not actually a new blog per se, just in a new place. The old blog by the same name was on Tumblr, and after about a year of low intelligence I realized it was missing something... a way for people to comment! Yeah... so I often wondered why it was like the most non-interactive blog I had ever had and it hit me like a ton of bricks. So I have returned to Blogger and though not as media friendly or visually stimulating (imo) as Tumblr, at least I can have a back and forth with you.
So first blog post is about my upcoming album "Live It UP!", which will be released on Thanksgiving 2012! I didn't plan it to fall on Thanksgiving, honest! I just had to pick a day/date to let it go and I did and later found out it was Thanksgiving. So while you are full from turkey and ham and stuffing and corn and... all that, you can be listening to my offering for those of you who need encouraging. That is the main point of Live It UP! to inspire you to delight in the Lord no matter what you've been through or what you are facing. "Set your affections on things above.." (Col. 3:2)
"Live It UP!" will be a free download, just like "Contagious" and I'm excited for you to get it in your headphones/speakers, so please get it and if you find it sound, pass it on! Let it be your ministry, I don't mind a bit! One day, I may want to take the music to that next level and ask for a donation, but that time is not now... So understand, it is me doing arrangements, recording, mixing, mastering (if you want to call it that), all through the help of the Lord, so it may be rough around the edges, but the message is top-notch and laced with God's life-changing Word.
